The icon of Santa Barbara, Old Mission Santa Barbara is a world-class destination for anyone interested in how Santa Barbara began. From our museum and mausoleum to our retreat center and splendid church, Old Mission Santa Barbara has something to offer everyone. More than 200 years later, the Mission continues to be the chief cultural and historic landmark in the city of Santa Barbara. Home to a community of Franciscan friars, the Mission property has ten acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and a beautiful church with a large and active parish. The gift shop includes jewelry, religious artifacts, statues, books, clothing, and postcards for sale in our gift shop. Open 7 days a week 9am to 5pm
